Our financial team will take all the troubles out of finding you the right mortgage. For efficiency all contact will be made by telephone and email then, should you prefer, a face-to-face visit can be arranged - whichever suits you best!

For advising on mortgages we can charge a fee of typically £295 or we can accept commission from the lender.

Local mortgage advice

We can arrange a face to face meeting, either in your own home or at work with an independent financial adviser to discuss your mortgage or remortgage requirements.

With mortgages and remortgages at competitive interest rates, we are able to offer a variety of mortgage and re mortgage solutions to suit your mortgage needs.Whether you are a first time buyer looking to get your first mortgage or you are looking to remortgage then we are confident we have the mortgage for you.

We can arrange a bespoke mortgage package based on your personal circumstances. Buy to let and other specific arrangements can be considered too.

Remortgages are becoming more commonplace than they were years ago.

People are often averse to remortgaging because of the time it took to arrange the first mortgage. This isn't necessarily the case. There is also the concern that whatever fees are involved will outweigh the benefits of remortgaging, again, this needn't be the case.

Mortgages - an introduction

Mortgages can be confusing, since there seem to be so many different types of home loans available. However, with a little homework, it is possible to gain a sound working knowledge of the subject and an understanding of the terminology.

Even armed with this information it makes sense to talk to a professional mortgage adviser. With the number of mortgage choices available - well over 1,000 different deals (which are constantly changing), from over 100 lenders - an independent financial adviser (IFA) is well placed to help you select the type of mortgage that best suits you. Such an IFA should have access to most, if not all, of the latest mortgages (including many that aren't available through high street lenders), and can provide invaluable assistance in highlighting potential pitfalls.

However, to help you make sense of the mortgage market we have prepared a brief description of each type of mortgage, with handy summaries.

Right at the outset it is important to understand that there are two facets to a mortgage: how the loan is repaid; and how interest is charged on the debt. Get this clear in your mind, and logically everything else should fall into place.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
